It's like the super hero and super villain thing, you know..
It could save us from certain diseases, or world hunger, or even certain animal's extinction but it could also create genocide like the one we see in movies where Arnold Swachzenneger got cloned, or whatever movies that has cloning.

i do think that it lacks novelty because the original being has already been made. there are many evils in life & cloning juss seems to add to it. religiously, its like playing with god. cloning appears to be acceptable in circumstances such as blood repair, loss of body parts, or hair growth. but if people are to be cloned, their minds can be altered & they may choose to put more destruction into the world. to me, cloning is dangerous, inhuman, and unoriginal.

well what i think about cloning is that is a good and bad thing.. its a good thing because if in a future you get sick or need a part of your body you can use you clone.. but a bad thing because we should live life as it is..and not use technology to try to be immortal you can say.

QUESTION
Are you against or pro cloning? Why?
Is cloning mere prejudice, born of ignorance and the fear of novelty?
Or does it rest in some genuine insight?
At what point should a fatally injured or terminally ill patient be considered dead?
When his vital functions-e.g., heartbeat and breathing--have ceased? When the brain stem has ceased to function?
Should the presence of deep coma be sufficient to establish death?

ScienceDaily (Sep. 23, 2007) — Researchers at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine have demonstrated the potential of a new strategy for genetic modification of large animals. The method employs a harmless gene therapy virus that transfers a genetic modification to male reproductive cells, which is then passed naturally on to offspring.
